ABOUT
E.J. Waltemire is a designer based in Dayton, OH. Growing up in Appalachia, E.J. was raised with working-class grit, determination, and a value for hard work.
He started his career as a firefighter/EMT in rural southeast Ohio, an experience that shaped his worldview and highlighted the challenges facing working-class communities. He eventually channeled that experience, along with his passion for good design, into working with grassroots political campaigns.
With nearly 20 years of design experience, he has worked with many notable organizations in the political space. Today, E.J. works as an independent designer specializing in brand identity and bold social media graphics. His work is grounded in working-class values, a utilitarian aesthetic, and a high value on clear, direct communication.
